NGC Tournaments Rules

Rules of the NGC weekly tournaments

Maximum Handicap of 28 for men and 36 for ladies.

Ladies play from red tees, Men 0-6 Handicaps - white tees, Men 7-28 Handicaps - yellow tees, Men over 70 - blue tees.

Each player pays 10 euros for prizes and refreshments which will be shared as follows:

1st prize 30 Euros.

2nd prize 20 Euros.

3rd prize 10 Euros.

Contribution to refreshments: the remaining amount.

Prize winners with handicaps 7 upwards will have handicap reductions  of 15%, 10% and 5%. (Handicaps 0-6 reductions of 30%, 20% &10%.)

Non prize winners with scores under 36 points will have handicaps increased by 0.5 for the next time they play.

At the beginning of each new season all players handicaps will return to their actual club handicaps. Players who have not maintained a club handicap will use the handicaps they had from the last Navarino tournament played. 

Club handicaps of Players taking part in our competition for the first time will be reduced as follows: Handicaps 0 – 9 = 1 shot. Handicaps 10 – 24 = 2 shots. Handicaps 25 – 36 = 3 shots.
